Despite being a fan of both horror and crime/mystery, I’ve never seen this thriller. So since Netflix jumped down my list and sent it, I now have.
I didn’t like it as much as I would have thought.
The idea of someone murdering following the 7 deadly sins in interesting although at the back of my mind, based on what Criminal Minds, CSI, Law and Order, and various thrillers have told me, I kept wondering why no one questioned the likelihood that the killer wouldn’t stop after 7 murders. I suppose it could be said the end of the movie takes care of that since he had a plan to get himself off – but shouldn’t one of the detectives at least have questioned that?
I have a soft spot for Leland Orser, who played “Crazed Man in Massage Parlour” and was on the screen for all of 2 minutes, so I liked that. The rest was just kinda meh for me and not as amazing as many told me. I was a little let down.
