Alice In Wonderland (2010)

This takes place 13 years after Alice’s first voyage to wonderland. She’s 18 and just been asked to marry a real loser and in a moment of being overwhelmed she runs off and once again falls down the rabbit hole. She doesn’t remember her previous time in wonderland and keeps being told she’s not the right Alice. The Red Queen has made wonderland a horrible place and in order to restore order and the White Queen to the throne, Alice must muster up the courage to fight the Jabberwocky.

I did stay entertained watching this but I don’t feel the urge to watch it again. It doesn’t feel as Burton-esque as some previous Burton films. It’s not even very weird. Worth a watch but I won’t buy it when it comes to DVD,

For anyone curious, "Alice & Wonderland" did keep me entertained but I'm in no hurry to see it again. Won't by on dvd but worth a watch. #
Waiting for Alice & Wonderland to start. I hope its good; the last few Burton movies have been misses with me. #

My headlight's fixed! I still have to keep tape on it to keep it from rubbing but I have a packing tape free headlight. #

Halloween II (2009)

…I feel like I just emerged from the drug induced dreams of Rob Zombie. That movie…hm.

It’s not bad per say, it’s just not good. It kinda meanders. And all the characters I care about end up dead so it’s hard to feel good at the end. In fact, I’m not quite sure what happened at the end.

Don’t recommend. Although there’s lots of blood if that’s your thing.

I think I'm getting a sinus infection. The air in here's been bothersome today but I've been sore in my sinuses and generally weird feeling. #
My driveway's completely blocked with snow and my brother's truck is stuck in it b/c he claimed it's "go right through". Guess not. #
Just spent 20+ minutes in a garage 40 degrees or less trying to coax a cat out of hiding. I truly am a crazy cat lady. #

The Ugly Truth

First off, I have had this from Netflix since November. November. I just couldn’t get in the mood to watch it. I’m not a huge Katherine Heigel fan anyway. I mean, I don’t hate her but she tends to play characters I find shrill and unrelatable.

Her character in this was no exception. She’s shrill, controlling, annoying, pushy, bitchy, and pretty much a basket-case. We’re told she’s smart but every chance she negates that by acting like a buffoon, usually having to do with her “hot” next door neighbor, who she thinks is the perfect man.

Enter Mike, a chauvinist who is being added to her morning show (I don’t even remember the character’s name! Maybe I should just call her Izzie. Or Izzy. Either one because other than 1 being an alien and the other a murdering doctor who can’t follow protocol, they’re the same and they’re THIS woman! So is her character from “Knocked Up” actually.) Anyway, he’s a pig but he’s pretty good looking and since this movie is 1 huge cliche, of course he has a sweet heart under the rough exterior. And of course, he falls for her while helping her land the next door neighbor. And after several mix-ups and misunderstandings, they end up together. Because this movie is 1 sloppy cliche.

I should have just sent it back.

Just found out I effed my my taxes and will have to file an amended. Co-workers – when you get to box 12, we're code S, not A. #
Just filed my state/federal taxes online, on my own. It wasn't to awful – and better than paying H&R Block $100! #
Watching soaps the 1st in years. What is WRONG with Hunter Tylo's face?!? #
Why is it all I ever wanna do on the weekends is play Farmville and watch the Youtube? #
